We can provide you with the following resources and services:

  • On-site professional staffing and program management
  • Logistics and capacity building
  • FDA designations such as Fast Track and Breakthrough Therapy

Global clinical operations

Our extensive global reach can help you with your clinical trial needs. We have a strategic partnership with ACE Research, a Pan-Africa CRO operating across Africa and parts of Southeast Asia. Specifically, our expertise in more than 20 African countries  -- with specialties in infectious diseases, sickle-cell anemia, and oncology -- has led to our serving approximately 10,000 subjects in Phase I-IV clinical trials.

Biotech acceleration and strategic consulting

With our experienced clinical operations and project managers, we can assist you in streamlining, planning and executing trials from pre-clinical through proof-of-concept. Moreover, we can expedite trials through better trial designs and site selection. Finally, we can help you manage technical challenges through contextualization and impact mitigation, rather than using more studies. In some instances, we have limited our pre-clinical studies to only the critical requirements to stay within costs and timeline.

Our history

ICON acquired the group formerly known as ClinicalRM in 2016, and renamed it ICON Government and Public Health Solutions. The acquisition provided a wider variety of services, including more innovative drug development to customers. Founded by Victoria Tifft in 1994, the group has been committed to solving global health issues by providing flexible and expedient research solutions to the federal government, the Department of Defense, and commercial sponsors.

Our group has been recognised for successfully managing FDA-regulated basic, applied and clinical research programs for the army, navy and air force, as well as the National Institutes of Health. As our impact in the bioscience industry increases -- through working with commercial customers, academic partners, and a growing network of worldwide affiliates -- we hope to ease the burden of global health crises through the provision of clinical solutions.
